An exquisite Diamond & Sapphire Art Deco Bracelet mounted in Platinum, English, Circa 1930

An exceptional and extremely finely worked Diamond & Sapphire "Art Deco" Bracelet mounted in Platinum (marked). The Bracelet comprising of six "Open Strapwork" Plaque style sections each with a central Collet set, floating style Diamond to the centre of a Quatrefoil design, with four further smaller Diamonds. The plaques extend with further Diamond set decoration and each has two arched Calibre cut rows of channel set Sapphires (twelve arches in total). The Plaque sections are connected by six elongated oval articulated Platinum and Pave set Diamond links and the Bracelet fastens with a sprung tongue fastener and safety (barrel) catch.

The Bracelet is accompanied by an Independent Gemmological Report assessing the Old & Transition Cut Diamond content to be 6.00 Carats, of F-G Colour and VS-SI Clarity, with (60) 3.00 Carats of Medium Dark Blue Natural Sapphires which have an indication of "Minor Thermal Enhancement".

It should be noted that moderately treated Sapphires are often commensurate with Gems produced in Jewellery manufactured post 1915.
